Abby Cartwright, Clinical Social Work/Therapist, MSW, LCSW
I work collaboratively with adults to help them heal from the past, cope with the present, and recognize their strengths and
potential for the future.
I work with adolescents who struggle with family conflict, anxiety, depression, low self esteem or trauma. I help parents
understand issues teens face today, improve their relationship with their child and respond effectively to family challenges.
I help disconnected couples having difficulties and transitions in their relationships find effective methods to change
unproductive communication and behavior. I work with many different types of couples: pre-marital, cohabitating, older,
younger, heterosexual, homosexual, long-term, and short-term.
Couples must understand that it takes time to change behavior patterns and that couples counseling is a commitment like a relationship.
I use EMDR to help individuals with trauma, anxiety, depression, low self esteem, performance anxiety, injury, illness, grief and relationship problems.
